⚡ The Core Principle: Cadet Accountability
At 2884 RCACC, we don't just teach leadership; we practice it. We want to explicitly emphasize that each cadet is personally responsible for their own uniform, dress, deportment, and behaviour.
At 2884 RCACC, we don't just teach leadership; we practice it. We want to explicitly emphasize that each cadet is personally responsible for their own uniform, dress, deportment, and behaviour.
- The Uniform: It is the cadet's responsibility - not their grown-ups' - to wash, iron, and sew badges onto their uniform, and to polish their own boots. Taking care of your gear is the first step in caring for your team.
- Deportment & Behaviour: Whether on a regular Wednesday night at GDHS, away on a weekend training exercise, or out in the communities of Middlesex, Elgin, Lambton, and Chatham-Kent, cadets represent the Royal Canadian Army Cadets. Excellent behaviour, respect for the chain of command, and personal discipline are expected at all times.
